Role Description

The Commercial Director will lead our commercial efforts in driving revenue growth and shaping the commercial strategy of the company. The director is responsible for a high-performing sales team, developing comprehensive sales strategies, and fostering strategic partnerships to expand our market presence and maximize revenue opportunities.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and revenue expansion.
  • Identify and penetrate new clients, new markets, industries, and segments to expand the company's client base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and research, to ensure alignment and integration of commercial initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the commercial function, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with extensive years of experience in a commercial or business development capacity.
  • Possess understanding of market research, consumer insights, marketing technology and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Experience working in the market intelligence or related industry is a plus.
