Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the world's largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure and they are currently looking for Financial Analyst - Vietnamese. Our dear client is looking for a Financial Analyst that will be responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the financial markets exchange and contributed data.

Job summary:

The Financial Analyst is also responsible for support other staff or owns the contributor relationship between the company and the local exchange, contributor, or data supplier for day-to-day operations and ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Gather, analyse, and translating/transliterating financial content details and investor names from Vietnamese characters into Romanized names or vice-versa
  • Process and maintain data accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using technical and financial knowledge
  • Communicate & liaise with internal and external departments for resolution of data queries
  • Maximise usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market
  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing expert user feedback
  • Support specific projects, as assigned by the manager
  • Adhere to change control procedures, data operations standards, and current data policies and procedures
  • Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data
  • Proactively identify and resolve data problems
  • Provides guidance or specialized services that directly support or affect results within one functional area
  • Works within the area and uses professional procedures and practices to achieve objectives
  • Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding
  • Free to determine the approach used to address routine professional issues
  • Identifies and solves complex issues using existing policies and procedures
  • Understands, interprets, and sets personal priorities for reaching goals

Key job requirements include:

  • Any Bachelor's or Master's degree with basic accounts and financial knowledge
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Must be proficient in the Vietnamese language both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Entry-level professional roles requiring a discipline-specific degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
  • General professional and conceptual knowledge of theories and principles within a discipline
  • Basic understanding of the roles of relevant functional groups within own area
  • Applies general knowledge of business, developed through education, to make informed judgements
