Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a sports and gaming company. Our respective client is looking for a Cost Accounting Lead who will oversee and manage the cost accounting functions within the company. This role requires onsite work in Paranaque City and will be reporting to the Toer Lead.

Task and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing costs, preparing budget reports, monitoring spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather cost data, analyze financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of costs related to production, inventory, and operational activities. Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts by providing cost-related insights and recommendations. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and analyze deviations.
  • Prepare regular cost accounting reports, including variance analysis, cost of goods sold (COGS) reports, and inventory valuation reports. Present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously review cost accounting processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements. Streamline workflows and automate tasks where possible.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or any related course.
  • At least 3 years experience in cost accounting and leadership.
  • Proficiency in cost accounting principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
