Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group's Health Division is partnering with a mnc medical equipment company in effort to look for a Country Manager. This role is based in Selangor, Malaysia.

As a country manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the country, ensuring the growth and success of the medical equipment division. This role includes managing sales, people building, finance, marketing and engineering management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the medical equipment industry, excellent leadership skills, with a strategic mindset.

Job Responsibilities:
Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

People Building:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across various functions.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Implement performance management processes to ensure team members meet their goals and objectives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members.

Product Focus:

  • Oversee the product lifecycle management.
  • Ensure that products meet market needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with global product teams to align on product messages t and enhancements.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the country's PNL including budget and financial plans.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare financial reports and present them to senior management.

Marketing Management:

  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Analyze market data to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

Engineering Management:

  • Oversee the technical support and service functions.
  • Ensure that engineering teams provide high-quality support to customers and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams on product development and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the medical equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Technical knowledge of medical equipment engineering and support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
