Country Manager (SAAS)

Executive search firm, Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading multinational Technology. They're in search of dynamic leaders to join their force as a Managing Director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential business development opportunities in Malaysia. Develop annual business plans outlining Revenue and Net Margin targets. Collaborate with Senior Managers to finalize these plans.
  • Create a budget for business expenses, salaries for billable and non-billable employees of company, and operational overheads. Ensure that expenditures adhere to the finalized budget.
  • Recruit, lead, and manage a team consisting of Sales/Account Managers, Recruiters, HR & Accounting personnel to achieve the annual revenue and net margin goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided. Increase revenue from existing customers and acquire new ones. Manage invoicing for services rendered and ensure timely recovery of dues.
  • Interface with government authorities to obtain necessary permits (EPs) and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with auditors and lawyers engaged by the organization to maintain accurate financial records. Oversee monthly payroll processing, statutory payments, and vendor payments.
  • Implement structured performance management processes, including incentive calculation and distribution. Develop effective systems for recognizing and rewarding high performers.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the human resources information systems. Generate monthly reports and dependable MIS/Dashboards for assessing business performance.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to all team members. Assign tasks based on availability, skills, and customer requirements. Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Conduct impartial investigations into any concerns or disciplinary issues. Collaborate with the organization's legal counsel to determine appropriate corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

  • A total of 10 to 15 years' experience in reputable organizations, with the last 2 years at a functional leadership level, involving a combination of Business Development, Account Management, or Business unit head roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
  • Proven experience leading teams of at least 10 members.
  • Strong managerial background in Sales processes (from lead generation to contract closure), Recruitment processes, Performance management, and Employee engagement.
