EMD Manager (Manufacturing)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of the largest manufacturer of commercial and automotive polyurethane foam products in the country. Our esteemed client is in search of a Maintenance Manager with a proven track record of 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably within a manufacturing or production setting. The company's office is located in Valenzuela City.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team consisting of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
* Cultivate a collaborative, safety-focused, and continuously improving culture within the team.
* Develop and implement maintenance and engineering strategies for Monoblock equipment.
* Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules and overall business objectives.
* Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment lifespan.
* Coordinate troubleshooting and repairs to promptly address equipment malfunctions.
* Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
* Engineering Projects:
* Manage and execute engineering projects related to Monoblock equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for project planning and execution.
* Manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
* Implement and monitor safety procedures to create a secure working environment.
* Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in Monoblock technology.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
* Proven managerial experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Must have 10 years of working experience as a Supervisor or with at least 5 years experience as a Managaer.
* Must have exposure in Facilities, Building, Maitenance and Equipment.
* Must come from the Plastic Industry (e.g., Plastic Packaging, Plastic Injection)
* In-depth knowledge of Monoblock equipment and related technologies.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
* Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Willingness to work in Valenzuela City.
* Working Schedule: Monday to Friday with 2 alternative Saturdays (8 AM to 5 PM).
