Field Service Coordinator/ Jr. Engineer

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a Swiss-based globally operating process and laboratory instrumentation and automation supplier. Our respected client is seeking for a professional with at least 2 years of working experience relevant to Field Service Coordinator/Engineer role. The job is based in BGC Taguig, with 20% WFH set-up monthly.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Conversion of inquiries to quotes including clarification of technical (with the assistance of Field Service Engineers) and commercial conditions; assist sales team with follow-ups
  • Manage and organize subcontracted service activities in collaboration with the service team and vendors
  • Planning, scheduling & allocating of service operational activities from request to completion including follow-up, if necessary
  • Task assignment based on the competencies of the team members and the needs of the customer (internal/external)
  • Coordinate field service travel that includes flights, transports, accommodation, meetings, visas and expense reports
  • Assist on payment collection for service orders
  • Technical Support of local customers and Sales Channel Partners
  • Understanding and ownership of aspects of after sales in terms of responsiveness, quality and time factor
  • Oversee database for spare parts, service tools and consumables inventory
  • Manage and handle customer concerns via phone and assist in addressing them (Helpdesk)
  • Handling complaints from customer, gathering all necessary data and converting it to cases (First line of Support)
  • Handling of repairs or returns
  • Coordinate and escalate complaints with Complaint management as needed
  • Other reasonable tasks and activities to be assigned/ required

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 2 - 5 years of working experiences
  • Instrumentation, industrial automation, familiarity with PC office software
  • Knowledge in after sales services
  • Good communication skills
  • Fair commercial knowledge
  • Good skills in handling people and situations
  • Well-organized, self-discipline
  • Proven work experience as service coordinator, planner, project manager or a similar role
  • Organizing abilities and attention to details
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize, work under time pressure
  • Fluency in Filipino & English
