Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf a leading manufacturer and supplier of compressed, metallic gaskets, compression packings and industrial products company. Our respected client is seeking a seasoned Finance Supervisor to oversee general accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports. The job is based in Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day general accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings, including BIR LOAs
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of financial statements, ledgers, and documentation
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with accounting standards
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decisions
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and recommend improvements when necessary
- Coordinate with auditors and external regulatory bodies as needed
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to maintain team performance and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- With at least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of general accounting practices, financial regulations, and BIR processes, particularly in handling LOAs
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Confident and professional demeanor with a strong command of written and spoken English and Filipino
