On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Fleet Manager to join the organization. They preferred someone who has experience in repairing and maintenance of dump trucks. The job will report to the Head Office in Rizal.

Job Summary:
The Fleet Manager will oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of the company's fleet of over 600 dump trucks and heavy equipment deployed nationwide. Based in the Rizal head office, the Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing 200+ personnel including mechanics, operators, and support staff. This role requires strong technical expertise in heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance, combined with leadership skills to ensure fleet reliability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Job Key Responsibilities

Fleet Operations & Management

Direct the daily operations of the company's nationwide fleet of dump trucks and heavy equipment.
Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
Monitor equipment utilization, fuel consumption, and performance to optimize fleet productivity and efficiency.
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for fleet operations, repairs, and safety compliance.

Maintenance & Repairs

Supervise and lead mechanical teams in the diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance, minimizing breakdowns and costly downtime.
Manage parts inventory, procurement, and supplier coordination to guarantee availability of critical components.
Implement quality standards and cost-saving initiatives in repairs and maintenance.

Personnel Management

Oversee and manage a workforce of 200+ employees, including mechanics, operators, drivers, and support staff.
Set performance targets, provide coaching, and ensure continuous training for technical and operational staff.
Enforce discipline, attendance, and productivity standards across all fleet teams nationwide.
Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

Develop and manage fleet budgets, including costs for repairs, fuel, manpower, and spare parts.
Analyze fleet expenses, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and report variances to management.
Prepare reports on fleet status, operational performance, and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with government regulations (LTFRB, LTO, DENR, DOTr, etc.) related to vehicles and operations.

Nationwide Coordination

Oversee regional fleet operations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor fleet condition, maintenance practices, and personnel performance.
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to align fleet deployment with project requirements.

Job Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field; Licensed Engineer preferred.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in fleet management, equipment maintenance, and heavy-duty trucks, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven experience managing large-scale fleets (500+ units) and supervising large technical teams.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment diagnostics.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems, fleet management software, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel nationwide as needed.
