Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of biggest telecommunication companies in Indonesia and Malaysia. Our respected client is seeking a Head of IT for the operation of the IT architecture as well as IT transformation with the latest software and hardware to enable business success. The job is to base in Jakarta with hybrid working arrangement.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage information databases
- Ensure third-party platforms are fully operational with strict adherence to QoS KPIs
- Oversee management of in-house developed software platforms
- Work closely with all departments to ensure best in class quality for service delivery
- Enable 24/7 NOC to ensure issues are managed and escalated
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and OS
- Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure
- Oversee management of IT projects and other initiatives, evaluate effectiveness and success
- Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company's network software whenever a new update is available
- Ensure data security, network access and backup systems to be properly managed
- Develop DRP and BCP plans and evaluate its effectiveness and ensure security of data, network, access and systems
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
- Ensure proper auditing of all systems and assess their outcomes, liaise with department management in outcomes
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
- Stay current with the standard effecting the IT industry
- Coordinate with outside design consulting firms for all design of IT services
- Provide input and think creatively to help improve efficiency on how the IT department is performing its tasks
- Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company's network
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor in IT, computer sciences or other relative field
- Minimum five years in IT management
- Proven working experience as an IT Manager, IT Head or relevant experience, background in telecommunications would be beneficial
- Requires excellent communication skills, oral and written. Be responsive and have the ability to explain issues clearly
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Key areas to cover such as Database Management, Cloud Servers and Storage, DRP and BCP, Cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, telecom-related 3rd party platforms for workflow, trouble ticketing, and knowledge or experience in Acumatica will be considered an a plus point
