Our respectful client is looking for a proactive HR Officer who will act as a liaison between HR and employees and provide a wide range of support activities in the HR department. This is an onsite work and is based in Negros Occidental.
Job Summary:
The HR Officer provides a wide range of support activities inside the HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining employee files (in assistance from the HR Associate - Records Management). The important part of the role is to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. Provides clerical work assistance when needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formulates and evaluates policies and procedures governing teaching and non-teaching personnel, such as: hiring, staffing, transfers and promotions and lay-off, or any administrative action to be taken;
- Maintains employment records and personal files of all non-teaching and teaching personnel;
- Supervises the annual evaluation of the concerned staff;
- Review school administration policies to ensure that all labor and social legislation are complied with
- Monitors the attendance of the staff
- Submits semester and annual reports to the School Director; and
- Does other related work as may be assigned by the School Director.
Key requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration with major or minor subjects in human resources management, a degree in psychology, political science, or any related field.
- At least 1 year to 3 years of experience working in human resources as an Officer or Supervisor;
- Being an HR in a school industry is an advantage but not required
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Supervisor;
- Adept knowledge of labor laws, MORPHE, Education Code, and other academic-related rules and regulations;
- With knowledge in drafting memorandums and policy interpretation
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills either verbal or written
