HR Officer - Payroll (Manufacturing)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in manufacturing industry. Our respected client is seeking for an HR Generalist with 5 years relevant working experience, with proven knowledge on Labor Laws preferably with experience working in an ISO Certified company. Our esteemed client's office is in Cagayan, De Oro.
Job Summary:
The HR Officer - Payroll is responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. This role involves handling various payroll functions, including calculating wages, managing deductions, processing benefits, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
Key job responsibilities include:
1.Responsible in the registration of employee to the biometric device;
2.Responsible in timekeeping and attendance of all employees, including monitoring of tardiness, absences, application for leave, half-day, under time, overtime, official business, etc.;
3.Process end-to-end payroll process such as but not limited to downloading of attendance logs from biometric device, collection and checking of submitted overtime, leave forms, etc.;
4.Preparation and monitoring of all salary deduction reports, such as but not limited to loans payment and mandatory deductions;
5.Responsible in the verification, crediting, and monitoring of employees' available leave balances;
6.Prepares and submits payroll report to Accounting Department; prepares transmittal report of payroll and process crediting/bank transfer; transfer payroll for pay slip generation and dissemination;
7.Prepares monthly payroll report summary.
8.Prepares and sends Performance Evaluation Form to Department Heads semi-annual, or as needed (for premature termination of contract and before regularization);
9.Summarizes and analyses results of Performance Evaluation semi-annually for the as relevant for the preparation of the Annual Training Program;
10.Prepares Annual Training Plan and request for budget on implementation of approved training;
11.Assist during the conduct of training either internal or external training; prepare training venue, tools and equipment needed, training certificate etc.;
12.Coordinates training sessions and seminars, including scheduling, informing participants and other preparations;
13.Gather all data needed pertaining to preparation of HR's KPI and QOs reports;
14.Prepares personnel reports (updated plantilla and master file, labor costs) during Management Review;
15.Administer and implement Company Code of Conduct; such as but not limited to issuance of notice to explain, notice of decision, etc as necessary;
16.Prepare documentations regarding employee movement/status such as but not limited to promotion, demotion, lateral transfer, regularization, absorption, resignation etc.;
17.Issue exit interview, exit clearance and quitclaims to off-boarding employee;
18.Update company Organizational Chart;
19.Prepares reports required by government agencies for compliance such as DOLE, SSS, PHIC & HDMF;
20.Prepares employee document requests such as Certificate of Employment, Compensation and the likes, as needed;
21.Prepares letters and memorandums as directed by the top management, Official Gazette and as deemed necessary;
22.Keep up-to-date with latest HR trends and best practices;
23.Support all internal & external related inquiries or request;
24.Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the Chief Operating Officer.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of any 4-years course, preferably courses related to Behavioural Science and HR Management
Training and Experience:
- With at least 5 years of relevant experience as HR Generalist, with proven knowledge on Labor Laws preferably with experience working in an ISO Certified company
Skills and Attitude:
- Well-versed in Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE Department Orders and other HR Mandates,With People Management Skills, possess strong decision-making skills, average to excellent communication skills, organizational and time-management skills. He/She shall be amenable to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, empathetic and proactive.
