Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division, is recruiting on behalf of a European multinational organization that is well-established in the field of specialty chemical manufacturing. Our respected client is currently seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee operations across the ASEAN and ANZ regions.

Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and volume targets for the company's TiO₂ and Functional Additives portfolio.
The successful candidate will be expected to drive business transformation through targeted value-selling and strategic customer engagement. This includes identifying high-value accounts, developing tailored sales strategies, and building long-term client relationships that align with the company's shift toward a more differentiated, value-driven business model.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities with product offering to achieve company goals.
  • Lead efforts to acquire new clients and maintain long-term relationship with existing portfolio, becoming their trusted advisor and go-to expert.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy / account plan, tailored to enhance collaboration with respective key accounts, in turn achieving the targeted sales revenue, volume & contribution margin.
  • Deliver compelling presentation showcasing innovative products and sustainability solutions that meet the needs of clients.
  • Prepare competitive quotes, negotiation terms and close contracts with new and existing clients.
  • Maintain continuous overview of market trends, competitive landscape and emerging customer needs.
  • Foster deep collaboration across various functions to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customers experiences.
  • Utilize established standards, systems, and processes to report on sales and business development performance metrics.
  • Ensure all sales team activities are completed in full compliance with EHS, SOX, product stewardship, competition law and business conduct guidelines.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fullappreciation of professional sales techniques and tools.
  • Good understanding of order-to-cash sales processes, key integrations with the support functions of Supply Chain, Customer Service, Marketing, Credit, Manufacturing and Finance, and the key commercial performance indicators.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and sector analysis tools, and customer value analysis.
  • In depth knowledge of customer base and end-use markets.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, associated processes, and transactional linkages.
