Job Summary
Our respected client is looking for a qualified contractor engineer with Cisco, Palo Alto, Huawei Professional, and Expert certifications to conduct a comprehensive network audit across all Data Centers, Distribution Centers, and SSC offices for the job of Network Engineer (L4) - Network Audit.

The Network Engineer (L4) - Network Audit is to identify and document End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) network devices currently in production, posing potential risks. This audit will be conducted in parallel across locations in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Taiwan. The job is in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers a Hybrid Work Arrangement.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Device Discovery:
    • Identify and list all EOL/EOS network devices in production.
    • Conduct a thorough inventory of routing, switching, firewall, and data center technologies.
  2. Risk Assessment:
    • Evaluate and flag risks associated with outdated devices, emphasizing design and security vulnerabilities.
  3. Audit Report:
    • Generate a comprehensive audit report detailing findings, risks, and recommended actions.
  4. Technology Expertise:
    • Demonstrate proficiency in routing, switching, firewall, and data center technologies.
    • Possess Cisco, Palo Alto, Huawei Professional, and Expert certifications.
    • Knowledge of hardware models, features, and capabilities.
  5. Bill of Materials (BOM) and Implementation Timeline:
    • Create a detailed BOM for the replacement of EOL/EOS devices.
    • Develop an implementation timeline outlining key milestones.
  6. Location-Specific Audits:
    • Conduct the audit concurrently in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Taiwan.

Key job requirements:

  • Proven experience in network audits and risk assessments.
  • In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, and data center technologies.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), and Huawei Certified Internetwork Expert (HCIE) certifications.
  • Proficiency in identifying and documenting hardware models, features, and capabilities.
  • Ability to create a comprehensive BOM and implementation timeline.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks in design and security.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting findings and recommendations.
