Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Malaysia's Healthcare Division is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company with over a decade of strong presence across Asia, now expanding its footprint into the Malaysian market.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales and Promotion
- Promote assigned products to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals through regular sales calls and detailing activities.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations and scientific discussions during clinic, hospital, and pharmacy visits.
- Organize and participate in product talks, medical exhibitions, and educational programs.
Territory Management
- Develop and maintain a strong customer database within the assigned territory.
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly call plans effectively.
- Monitor competitor's activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure product availability and visibility in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
Relationship Building
- Build long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers on product use, benefits, and safety.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Reporting and Compliance
- Submit daily call reports, expense claims, and territory feedback on time
- Comply with all company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations (e.g. Code of Conduct, local MOH guidelines).
- Participate in product training sessions and maintain up-to-date product and disease knowledge.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Biomedical, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest may be considered.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Possess own transport and valid driving license.
