Product Manager (VA/AEM) (Medical Devices)

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment company, is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational medical device company specializing in consumable medical products. As part of the company's continued growth in Indonesia, our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives and drive market success for their consumable product portfolio. The position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product strategies and tactical plans to ensure successful positioning and growth of medical consumables in the Indonesian market.
  • Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals to support product usage and gather feedback for ongoing development.
  • Lead product launches, promotional campaigns, and lifecycle management initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, regulatory, supply chain, training) and regional/global teams to ensure alignment on product and business goals.
  • Provide technical training and product knowledge support to the sales team and distributor network to drive adoption and usage.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership to guide decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product management, marketing, or sales within the medical device industry, with a focus on consumables preferred.
  • Proven experience working with hospitals, procurement teams, and healthcare professionals.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian healthcare system and purchasing behaviors related to medical consumables.
  • Strong ability to manage product portfolios and collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
