Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Sales Director on behalf of a multinational company in the consumer goods and retail industry. The role will be responsible for leading and managing nationwide sales operations to drive revenue, profitability, and market share objectives. The Sales Director will develop and implement strategic sales plans, expand and manage the dealer network across the Philippines, build strong relationships with key partners and retailers, and ensure effective coordination with headquarters and internal departments.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives, revenue targets, and market growth.
  • Translate global sales strategies into localized programs for the Philippine market.
  • Forecast sales and develop budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.


Dealer Network Management & Expansion

  • Manage existing dealer relationships nationwide, ensuring strong partnerships and optimal performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new dealers across the Philippines to expand market reach.
  • Develop dealer programs and incentives to drive sales and loyalty.
  • Conduct periodic dealer reviews and performance assessments.


Team Management & Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor three Sales Managers and their Sales Assistants to deliver high performance.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to support professional growth.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture.


Account & Retailer Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key partners.
  • Oversee the execution of channel and retail strategies to maximize sell-through and visibility.


Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify new business opportunities and channels.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to guide strategy and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Support new product launches in coordination with marketing and merchandising teams.


Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance versus targets and take corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee sales forecasts, pipeline management, and reporting to headquarters.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to drive decision-making and improve performance.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and other internal departments to align campaigns and promotions.
  • Ensure timely communication of market insights and opportunities to headquarters.
  • Coordinate with Visual Merchandising, E-commerce, and other teams to support overall brand objectives.


Budget & Compliance

  • Manage the sales budget within approved limits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth in the consumer goods, retail, or watch/jewelry industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail channels, dealer networks, and key account management.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding dealer networks nationwide.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
