Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is exclusively partnered with multinational organization who is well established in the field of Building Management Systems (BMS). Our respected client is seeking a Sales Engineer with 5 years of experience within a similar field. The job will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Summary:
The successful applicant will help our client in the pre-sales stage, to meet potential customers to get their requirements on the most suitable system designs. The candidate will be supporting our client in their growth of implementing Building Management Systems (Physical Security System, ACS, Gate, Parking, Fire Alarm etc.) for their customers in Malaysia.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- To meet the customers to get their requirement
- To plan and design the system suitable with the customer's requirement
- To find the suppliers who can provide the system, negotiate price with the supplier and estimate the cost to submit the quotation to the customer
- To make the project plan and schedule
- To follow up with the supplier's progress and control the project until the project is handed over to the customer within the time frame based on the contract
- To hand over the project to the customer
Job Requirements:
- Have 5 years over related work experience in a similar field (approximately 5 projects of contract negotiation in physical security system)
- Basic knowledge of networking principles, controller hardware, door hardware and credential technologies
- Have wide range of customer network (more than 5) in the property industry
- Negotiation skills, communication skills
- Basic skill for creating business strategy, basic skill for budget management
- Can drive and have own car
- Good English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills and written skills. Mandarin skills is an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of Building Management System is an added advantage
- Experience in Energy Saving project is an added advantage
- Can read, comprehend blueprints, line diagrams and specifications are an added advantage
