Sales Engineer - Lubricant (Automotive Market)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in industrial products. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 8-10 years' experience in business development and sales for the job of Sales Engineer - Lubricants. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to the Sales Manager Industrial
  • Create and maintain the lubricant potential market and product portfolio through the whole product lifecycle
  • Give the optimum market coverage and competitiveness in our product offer
  • Analysis the market and associated competitors in the aftermarket to create the range in a most innovative, differentiated, and competitive way
  • Provide expertise and knowledge related to lubricants for cars, & trucks and 2 wheeler, answering customer and internal stakeholder questions.
  • Follow and support sales requests to win business opportunities (new suitable products for new customers and/or new regions)
  • Be a key player during the launch of new products
  • Propose differentiated competitive product offers technical and commercial wise
  • Communicate the unique selling points of our products to both sales and customers
  • Give input to product marketing material

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent working experience
  • Strong sales exposure in lubricants products
  • Strong market knowledge in automotive
  • Persistent and self-driven, strong organizational skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different people
  • High level of drive and personal commitment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with good analytical skills and good business understanding
  • Strong customer focus and result minded oriented
  • Product knowledge and technical understanding on lubricants products for cars & trucks & 2 wheeler is a plus
  • Minimum 8 year in Experience in business development and sales is a plus required
  • Creative, innovative, and problem solver
  • Fluent in English
