Job summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for support planning, marketing, and sales activities, to maintain and develop sales of the company's range of services to the Malaysian office's key accounts, in accordance with agreed business plans.


Key job responsibilities include:

  • Grow tendered business in volume, prepare high quality competitive indications/offers and ultimately lead the opportunity to success.
  • Maintain existing customer base while developing new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods and relevant internal liaison.
  • Follow the corporate handbook.
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities with prospective & existing customers.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Plan, carry out and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets, timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organization's marketing/sales activities.
  • Monitor and report on market & competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • From time-to-time, travel will be required throughout Malaysia.
  • Preparation of proposals.
  • Other duties.


Key Job requirements include:

  • Must hold at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience while a couple of those with relevant industry experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Company's freight management and contract logistics services.
  • Expert industry and market knowledge (customers, competitors, rates, etc) with supply chain management knowledge.
  • Proficient knowledge of both airfreight and ocean freight.
  • Proactive self-starter that is able to work in an internationally set matrix of support.
  • Team spirit and a team player!
  • Excellent people, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent command of computers (MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint, MS Outlook, internet, etc)
  • Results-oriented and driven individual.
  • Business level Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Business level English.
