Our esteemed client is one of the global leaders in the production of injection moulding machines and their automation. Our respected client is seeking a Sales Manager with minimum 2 years of experience.
Job summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible to define and execute a clear prospection plan focusing on key potential customers for our client. This position will closely work with current sales and service colleagues as well as administrative staff based in the Southeast Asia region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Increase sales within Malaysia with a strong focus on new customer acquisition.
- Be the first contact for the processing of offers, orders, invoices, and after-sales services including the preparation of quotes.
- Follow up order process, delivery schedule and payment with customers.
- Participate to assigned trainings and systematically use company's systems to generate offers and document weekly commercial activities.
- Build a proactive, strategic relationships throughout all levels of our customer's organization to create an intimate knowledge of each customer's direction, focus, priorities, and related market trends.
- Mentor / advise junior sales.
- Monitor market and competitor activities.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports of activities.
- Support in marketing related activities such as fairs, exhibitions, and seminars.
Job Requirements:
- Malaysian national with an excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor Degree with Technical background.
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales and/ or selling plastic injection machines or related equipment's (including tooling) in Malaysia.
- Fully autonomous individual used to work in small structures (with the support of a global group).
- Persistent, self-motivated and resilient.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Creative and out of the box thinker.
- Impeccable interpersonal skills.
