Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in food production raw material. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in sales for the job of Sales Manager - Flour Raw Material. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report directly to GM Sales
  • Planning and control of different sales strategy to ensure the target is achieved
  • Monitor and take action on cost efficiency and effectiveness while attaining exponential /fast growing sales result
  • Developing, implementing and executing strategic sales plans to attract potential customers and retain existing ones
  • Managing and coordinating sales staff, leading market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services
  • Provide sales support and technical advice to the sales and marketing team on a wide range of pump products
  • Working with executives to determine budgets and targets
  • Charged with developing pricing strategies for products and services
  • Count on marketing strategy for profitability and results
  • Guide, supervise, and mentor all human resources within the sales team
  • Prepare the groundwork/ start-up preparation, including market survey (such as listing down potential clients), involved in the product development, building up the organization, and getting details ready for initial sales activities
  • Handle sales activities including to cover another sector of customer services (market update, delivery services, and proposal) as part of extended consumer services (serving the targeted market)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing any related major from reputable university
  • At least ten years' experience in sales and managing the team in a multinational company especially in flour products
  • Strong product knowledge and market in flour industry
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in mining, industrial, project-based, etc
  • Effective relationship management and communication skills
  • Able to give and receive feedback, effective communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, effective presentation skills
  • Good Financial literacy
  • Fluent spoken and written English
