Sales Manager for Electronic Vehicle

Monroe Consulting is currently looking out for a Sales Manager position for our client, a heavy machinery principal company. This role will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute direct B2B sales strategies to drive market share and revenue growth for heavy electrical vehicles (HEV) within the agroforestry, mining, and construction sectors across assigned territories.
  • Identify and cultivate key client relationships with major companies in target industries, understanding their operational needs and positioning HEV solutions as a strategic advantage for their sustainable and efficient operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive product presentations and demonstrations of heavy electrical vehicles, effectively communicating technical specifications, performance benefits, and total cost of ownership to prospective clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations and tender preparations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements, while providing exceptional after-sales support to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, product development, and service teams to provide market feedback, resolve client issues, and ensure that HEV offerings meet the evolving demands of the agroforestry, mining, and construction industries.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8 - 10 years) in direct B2B sales within the heavy machinery or automotive sector, with a strong focus on heavy electrical vehicles (HEV) or similar advanced machinery.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the agroforestry, mining, and/or construction industries, including their operational challenges and specific equipment needs.
  • Strong technical acumen related to heavy electrical vehicles, including battery technology, charging infrastructure, performance metrics, and maintenance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage effectively with C-level executives, operational managers, and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory) and Mandarin Chinese (a plus point) is a significant advantage.
