Senior Manager Supply Chain (Healthcare)

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is hiring on behalf of a leading healthcare institution. Our client is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager with at least 10 years of experience in managing end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations.

The role involves overseeing procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and supplier management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting the company's overall goals. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and driving performance in a dynamic environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business goals and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to cut costs, streamline processes, and build supply chain resilience.
  • Oversee procurement to ensure quality goods and services are sourced at competitive prices.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
  • Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or excess.
  • Ensure smooth warehouse operations, including accurate storage and timely distribution.
  • Coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, and transport providers for timely deliveries.
  • Work with logistics partners to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve supply chain performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and proactively manage supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business needs.
  • Support planning for product development and customer demand.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a strong supply chain team focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain tools (e.g., SAP).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, including import/export compliance and safety standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
