Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the engineering team, providing strategic direction and guidance to meet the company's objectives in pharmaceutical manufacturing and processes.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that optimize production processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute the design, construction, and maintenance of pharmaceutical production facilities and equipment.
- Manage engineering budgets and allocate resources to projects, ensuring efficient utilization and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and lead efforts to maintain a high level of quality and safety.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within engineering processes and procedures to enhance overall productivity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Extensive experience in engineering management within the pharmaceutical industry, including experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry-specific requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation for engineering projects.
- Results-oriented mindset with a history of successful project execution and continuous improvement in pharmaceutical engineering processes.
