Technical Proposal/Estimation Engineer (Construction)

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is representing a Japanese multinational company renowned for its expertise in agriculture, water, and environmental sectors. They are seeking a Technical Proposal/Estimation Engineer with 5 years of relevant experience in pump engineering, including hydro turbines, gas turbines, and similar hydraulic machinery. The candidate should have experience in turn-key EPC projects such as water treatment, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, power plants, and petrochemical plants. The ideal candidate should come from the construction industry and have knowledge of water treatment processes. The position is based in Makati City, with an onsite arrangement from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Job Summary:

The Technical Proposal/Estimation Engineer at Kubota Kasui Corporation is responsible for preparing technical proposals and cost estimates for water treatment and environmental projects. This role involves detailed analysis of project requirements, collaboration with various departments, and ensuring that proposals meet client specifications and company standards. The engineer will leverage their technical expertise to provide accurate and competitive estimates, contributing to the successful acquisition of new projects.

Key Job Responsibilit:
Prepare technical proposals for customers.
Estimate costs for pumps and their drivers (mostly electric motors).
Facilitate communication between customers and KKP, and between KKP and Kubota Japan, to resolve technical queries raised by customers.
Create product presentations for customers.
Gather project information to aid in securing project awards.
(In the future) Potentially be dispatched as a supervisor for installation and commissioning in other countries within ASEAN or the Middle East, if necessary and qualified.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited universities or colleges, or possess an equivalent educational background.
Demonstrate persistent and calm demeanor as inherent characteristics.
Exhibit proactive and constructive attitudes as personal traits.
Possess experience working as a project manager or project mechanical engineer.
Have prior experience as a supervisor and/or technical advisor for installation and commissioning at project sites, particularly for hydraulic machinery and related equipment.
Possess knowledge and experience in Pump engineering, including but not limited to pumps, hydro turbines, gas turbines, and similar hydraulic machinery.
Have knowledge and experience in turn-key Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, such as water treatment, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, power plants, and petrochemical plants.
