Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf a medical advertising company with headquarters in New York. Our reputable client is currently searching for a UXUI Lead (Individual contributor). This job is based in Makati with mostly WFH set-up with very minimal onsite requirement (1-2x per month). Flexi time - start time may range from 7am-10am.

We are looking for an experienced and creative User Experience/User Interface (UXUI) Lead to join our team. The UXUI Lead will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and owning digital design systems, including their atoms, molecules, components, templates, and tactics to produce best in class interactions and experiences. They will create and present prototypes for user testing, colleague, and client review.
The ideal candidate will understand the differences between UI, UX, and Art Direction and have an organized, creative approach to problem solving. The UXUI Lead will collaborate with UX, strategy, technology, and creative leadership in a client-facing, high-visibility role.
This role requires Figma mastery as a pre-requisite. You must be able to demonstrate mastery of components, variables, tokens, autolayout and pattern libraries.

UXUI Lead Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain digital design systems, templates
  • Create and revise tactical designs, prototypes, dev ready, accessible, responsive digital layouts
  • Define and design atoms, molecules, components, templates, visual elements, product elements, and overall design for digital projects and products.
  • Educate colleagues about and ensure adherence of WCAG 2.1
  • Understand and align to digital best practices and standards of usability
  • Document and define user flows, content maps, sitemaps, components, and create and implement interaction models and user interface specifications
  • Implement feedback from user research and testing
  • Collaborate on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs
  • Work with engineering, front-end, and backend developers as needed
  • Collaborate with creative team to ensure brand and campaign assets follow best practices in a digital environment
  • Prepare development-ready files for handoff
  • Advocate for visually appealing design that is also functional from a user perspective
  • Responsible for knowledge sharing, coaching and conducting UX 101 trainings to the team


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in UXUI with a portfolio of sample projects and written case studies demonstrating role and actions
  • Five (5) years' experience in UI, engineering, UX, programming, or related position
  • Expertise in Figma, including autolayout, components, tokens, variables
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum processes
  • Experience with multiple visual design programs including Sketch, XD
  • Knowledgeable in wireframing tools, storyboards, user flows, and site mapping
  • In-depth understanding of UXUI; an understanding of latest design and technology trends and their role in a commercial environment
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Veeva CRM- capabilities and limitations thereof
  • Artistic eye for design, user interaction, functionality, and readability
  • Able to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as an active member of a team
  • Able to present ideas to clients with varying levels of design expertise
