Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on electrical products. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in Vendor Engineering Lead for the job of Vendor Engineering Lead - Substation (Oil & Gas Projects) - Jakarta. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Review of manufacturer drawings for different equipment at substation level and submission to client & review of client comments and reply to the comments with revised vendor documents
  • Ensure deliveries are aligned to Project Schedule Pre order offer reviews during tender and execution stage of the project
  • Follow up with manufacturers for drawing submissions and incorporation of comments
  • Checking of vendor GA parameters on primary equipment layout and coordinate same with vendor if any changes in layout design
  • Providing support to Site team on site queries on manufactured equipment
  • Submitting all engineering set of calculation and obtaining comments from review with client
  • Releasing Manufacturing clearance to the vendors for which engineering drawings were approved from client

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5~8 years professional experience in this position. Experience in engineering of offshore projects, Oil & Gas projects, HVAC or HVDC projects (in particular) will be an added advantage; including Knowledge and working experience on HVAC - GIS , HVDC with OEMs
  • Work experience on relevant international standards such as IEC and NFP
  • Work experience in projects of oil and gas or offshore substation, Experience in EHV HVAC / HVDC off shore and on shore substations for off shore wind is preferable
  • Knowledge on vendor design documents review
  • Accuracy (Approval of vendor drawings in min. no. of approvals)

  • Value addition to Submitted Vendor Deliverables & coordination of same with Site actual arrival and installation without any punch list from client
