On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Vice President to join the organization. The job will report in Ortigas, Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Vice President will be the one to provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for all construction projects of the company. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The VP will also drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and support the organization's long-term goals through effective leadership and resource management.
Main responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the company's construction strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Provide direction on project selection, resource allocation, and operational priorities.
- Represent the company in executive meetings, client negotiations, and industry associations.
Project & Operations Management
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Implement best practices in project management, engineering, and construction methodologies.
- Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Financial Management
- Manage construction budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures.
- Ensure profitability targets are met while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Approve major contracts, procurement, and vendor agreements.
People & Organizational Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers, project directors, and technical teams.
- Drive a high-performance culture and succession planning within the construction division.
- Promote safety-first culture and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong client, stakeholder, and government relationships.
- Support business development in securing new projects and partnerships.
- Position the company as a leader in quality, safety, and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
- MBA is an advantage
- Numerous years of experience in the construction industry and in senior management roles
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure or high-rise/mixed-use projects
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in top-tier firms is highly advantageous
