Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a group of restaurants carrying international brands. Our respective client is looking for a VP Finance who will implement general leadership in relation to the company's financial mission. This role is on hybrid work set-up (4 days onsite, 1-day WFH) with compressed work week schedule (M-F 9am-7:30pm) and will be reporting to the Group CFO.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Be the advisor for financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
- Participate to the development of the company's strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
- Manage the work of the finance and operations teams.
- Implement an appropriate finance system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.
- Manage all aspects of finance and accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, treasury and financial reporting.
- Analyze company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets.
- Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, must be a CPAExperience either as an employee or board member of an organization; must be familiar with finance and accounting regulations.
- At least 10 years experience in a senior management role ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience
- Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
- Experience either as an employee or board member of an organization; must be familiar with finance and accounting regulations.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
- Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask.
- Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented.
