VP Project Integration (Petrochemical Project)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading Indonesian Petrochemical projects. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in Project for the job of VP Project Integration. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the management of capex optimization, starting from preparing strategies, calculating and evaluating capex optimization in project preparation management
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate licensing management for all EPC project packages.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the management of the final investment decision (FID) process for all EPC project packages.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the process of preparing contracting strategies and AB/VL projects in preparation for the bidding process for all EPC project packages.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the management of project execution (EPC work) quality aspects for all EPC project packages.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate interface project management for all EPC project packages
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate project integration management for all EPC project packages.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate the management of post mortem project activities.
  • Direct, monitor and evaluate process safety management including operational
    integration/integrity of HSSE operations and crisis management.
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate the preparation and implementation of work/function unit Work Plans and Budgets (RKA).
  • Managing, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of HSSE aspects and supporting HSSE programs in work units/functions.
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate planning & performance appraisal activities, worker guidance, assignment/mutation plans, as well as plans for worker training needs in work
    units/functions.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from various majors, preferably Engineering
  • Minimum work experience of 20 years
  • Work experience in the field of Engineering, preferably in the field of Project Management/ Project Engineering/ Process Engineering/ Process Safety Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Instrument and Control Engineering
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Cross-cultural competence and international experience are advantageous, especially in multinational project environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and compliance requirements in contract management.
