Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is partnered with a global leader in the manufacture of polymer materials. They are looking for an Automation Engineer to support the continued growth in the Asia Pacific Region. The job is based in Negri Sembilan.
Job summary:
The successful Applicant will be responsible for all electrical software and related issues in the plant which incudes trouble shooting, maintenance, improvement, repairing, safety, and reliability while also supporting the other teams like the Mechanical team, Process team, dies cleaning, and spare parts in daily technical issues.

Responsibilities:
- Able to achieve high time efficiency by performing root cause analysis to other machines as well as to eliminate repeating issues
- To look for possible failures by evaluating spare parts availability
- To reduce the down for the machines by frequently checking the machines with suitable CM tools
- To take immediate action by preventing and stopping any further bad developments
- To do preventive maintenance which includes re-greasing and temperature check to reduce machine down time
- To reduce the maintenance cost by repairing and troubleshooting the faulty Electrical Equipment
- To simplified mistake done by operators but safety is paramount
- To always ensure the basic working conditions is understood and risk analysis is performed
- To always be in the lead of getting problem identified
Key job requirements include:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on work in manufacturing environment
- Degree/diploma in Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Good written and spoken language proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia
