Business Development Manager (Manufacturing)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on Polymerization. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in polymerization for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report to Owner
  • Achieve the sales target & New Business Development
  • Ensure growth in sales as per agreed budgets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Prospecting to acquire new projects
  • Gather market information, including latest information on existing & future customers
  • Negotiating on price, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
  • Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Execute business plan for Polymerization Technology segment in Indonesia
  • Understand needs of Indonesian Polymerization Technology and how Polymerization Technology can most effectively be leveraged
  • Carrying out market analysis for identifying new business opportunities
  • Engage client at senior commercial & technical level and maintain key stakeholder relationship throughout
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams within the company
  • Keep track of competition activities
  • To get required support & input to provide necessary details to clients during project stage. Influence to decide market strategy & business plan
  • Sales generation, networking, push product & services.
  • Achieving sales budget as defined in objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or or any related major from reputable university
  • Minimal Bachelor's degree or Master degree will be advantage in Management or Marketing or Business from reputable university
  • 15-20 years' experience field sales and marketing experience and demonstrated levels of performance across varied situations in multinational company
  • Previous experience in sales with knowledge in Polymerization technology, Business & Project Planning
  • Handling similar Customer database from Polymerization technology and/or Coal Gasification
  • Knowledge of sales process, specifically in project related business domain.
  • Strong in Presentation Skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Expert in Sales strategy, product development and data tracking
  • Good in analytical thinking
  • Has a great communication skill to maintain client relationships
  • Excellent English communication in both oral and written
  • Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Has an experience to analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
