Sales Manager for Power Distribution

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of prominent and expanding solar power company in the Philippines. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Sales Manager to join the organization. The job will be reporting to Cebu City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets in the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on promoting solar energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Main responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales Performance: Spearhead the expansion of Power Distribution and Utility business operations across the Philippines, consistently achieving annual sales targets through strategic market penetration and customer acquisition.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management: Conduct comprehensive customer visits to gather critical business intelligence including demand forecasting, operational pain points, budget allocations, and historical purchasing patterns. Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key stakeholders while creating qualified business opportunities within our CRM system.
  • Technical Solutions & Proposal Development Prepare compelling technical proposals and deliver professional presentations to prospective clients. Provide expert guidance on technical requirements analysis, oversee sample testing processes, and execute successful scheme demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends and interpret industry information to identify emerging customer needs and pain points. Conduct thorough competitive product analysis from market perspective to maintain competitive advantage and inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 3 years 3 years of proven sales experience specifically within the electricity distribution industry, utility sector, or related power infrastructure segments.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of solar energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
