Business Development Manager (Packaging)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on manufacturing packaging. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in packaging for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Cikarang, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report to General Manager (Indonesia) and Regional Head Sales (Hongkong)
  • Developed a new market and customer in consumer goods and pharmaceutical
  • Increase sales revenues by getting a new customer and increase sales value from new customer
  • Planning and control of sales departments to ensure the target is achieved
  • Monitor and take action on cost efficiency and effectiveness while attaining exponential /fast growing sales result
  • Provide planning and status report (orally and written)
  • Guide, supervise, and mentor all human resources within the team
  • Prepare the groundwork/ start-up preparation, including market survey (such as listing down potential clients), involved in the product development, building up the organization, and getting details ready for initial sales activities
  • Handle operational activities including to cover another sector of customer service (installation, design consultation and so on) as part of extended consumer services (serving the targeted market)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related major from reputable university
  • 15-20 years' experience field sales and marketing experience and demonstrated levels of performance across varied situations in multinational company
  • Expert in Sales strategy, product development and data tracking
  • Good in analytical thinking
  • Has a great communication skill to maintain client relationships
  • Excellent English communication in both oral and written
  • Has an experience in flexible packaging / rigid packaging
  • Strong market exposure in the food & beverages and pharmaceutical industry
  • Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Has an experience to analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Willing to be based in Cikarang
