Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf on behalf of an American multinational company, with products sold in over 180 countries. Our respective client is looking for Commercial Analytics Executive. This job is based in Rockwell with hybrid set up.

The Commercial Analytics Executive's main goal is to support in the analysis of potential growth opportunities together with effective portfolio and commercial planning of initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution. This is achieved through:

  • Supporting in the assessing business's performance as well as other internal and external factors (consumer, competition, channels and industry) impacting profitability to identify volume, SoM and revenue growth opportunities.
  • COT forecasting based on new portfolio initiatives and additional inputs like domestic and competitive pricing, consumer demand, etc.
  • Price modelling and scenario analysis

Business Analysis

  • Responsible for Competition analysis (Channel / Account based Investments, Organization Set-Up, Portfolio Positioning & Pricing Activities) for the BU.
  • Responsible for Consumer trend analysis for the BU.
  • Responsible for Channel analysis (Overall channel based segment / portfolio trends within different geographies, Analysis of total channel business value and contribution of PMIDF & other TMOs) for the BU.
  • Responsible for Industry analysis (Multicategory Trends Follow Up, Account Based overall Financials / P&L / Performance analysis, Follow up activities of regional / global duty free associations, Follow up of regulatory developments etc.)for the BU.

Portfolio & Commercial Planning

Portfolio Planning:

  • Assist Customer Development for location based segment assessment (i.e. Price, Taste, Diameter, etc.) within the category and definition of local and tactical portfolio initiatives.
  • Report post launch evaluation

Commercial Planning:

  • Monitors the net operating revenue drivers (volume, price, mix effects) and the progress of trade terms for key accounts
  • Performs post activity and ROI assessments
  • Supports in the preparation of DME, TE & 3rd party FF budget of BU by location.
  • Follow up and ensure proper closing of budget, provide required information to Finance for accrual process.

Who we're looking for:

  • With at least 2-4 years of combined experience in Business Analytics, consulting or FMCG multinational company.
  • Good business acumen, analytics, scenario analysis and modelling financial savvy are key.
  • Solid understanding of key marketing and commercial competencies like Volume/COT forecasting, Pricing. Etc.
  • Scenario Analysis & Modelling, Financial Savvy, Stakeholder Engagement, Advanced Excel, Knowledge of Power BI, Business & Portfolio Acumen
