Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected organization in the Agro-Industry and Food sector. The company's operations encompass animal feed production, vertically integrated livestock operations, crop integration, aquaculture, and food processing . The office is in San Fernando City, Pampanga, Philippines with onsite work requirement.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all labor-related legal cases, including employee disputes, union grievances, disciplinary actions, and collective bargaining violations.
  • Represent the company in labor courts, tribunals, arbitration panels, and administrative hearings.
  • Provide legal guidance and support during union negotiations, collective bargaining agreement (CBA) drafting, and interpretation of CBA provisions.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Operations, and other departments to ensure efficient resolution of labor-related cases.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in labor legislation, assessing their potential impact on company policies and operational practices.
  • Achieve 100% resolution of labor and union cases within established timelines.
  • Ensure all case outcomes are legally defensible and minimize the risk of reversals, sanctions, or penalties.
  • Maintain a high ratio of favorable outcomes (e.g., dismissals, employer-favorable rulings, or successful settlements) relative to total cases represented in court or arbitration.
  • Keep case backlog below 10% of the total caseload to ensure timely and effective case management.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant corporate and labor relations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, must be a bar exam passer.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in litigation.
  • Experience in a corporate legal department, labor law firm, or with a unionized workforce is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, identify legal risks, and provide practical and innovative solutions.
