Our client is searching for a seasoned professional in the data center industry, someone with substantial market exposure and extensive experience to take charge of leading their Data Center in Indonesia. The Data Center will be strategically located across various areas in Java and other regions.
Job Description
- Lead and motivate a team of data center operations personnel
- Develop and implement strategies for data center operations, including capacity planning, power management, disaster recovery, and security.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize data center performance and efficiency.
- Work with vendors and contractors to maintain and upgrade data center equipment.
- Identify and implement opportunities for technology improvements and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data security and privacy regulations.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect data and IT infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies for the data center business
- Identify and target new customers for data center services, including colocation, cloud hosting, and managed services
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in data center operations management, ideally within a large organization.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, power, cooling, network, and security systems.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and handle conflict resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with the country's regulatory environment and data privacy laws is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis.
