Country Manager (Logistics Services)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on logistics services. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in logistics services for the job of Country Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Direct reporting line to Regional Director
  • Develop a new business in logistics services
  • Accountable for profitable sales growth
  • Develops and executes strategic, tactical and account sales plans to ensure strong pipeline is maintained
  • Develops new capabilities and executes strategy
  • Develops monthly forecasts and annual sales budgets
  • Monitors and reports on progress against forecast and objectives
  • Leads adoption and use of sales tools (including CRM) and methodologies in the region
  • Takes remedial action and/or seeks advice as required in relation to sales opportunities
  • Directly participates in closing strategic opportunities
  • Ensures that sales activities conform with relevant government regulations, company policies, standard and ethics
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement of work practices and processes
  • Maintains and encourages appropriate communications and cooperation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or marketing or any related major from reputable university
  • Minimum fifteen to twenty years' experience in Sales management a must, with preferable experience within in a logistics services or waste management services
  • Strong experience in logistics services and waste management services
  • Delivery of application projects requiring high level of integration knowledge
  • Experience and skills in contract negotiation, commercial law, tender evaluation, and quote preparation
  • Basic Financial Skills - P&L, Balance Sheet
  • Understanding of system business applications, market trends and integration/adoption issues
