Monroe Consulting Group is assisting a client from a reputable pharmaceutical company in their search for an experienced Director of International Business to lead and oversee the company's commercial operations across international markets. This role requires a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development within the pharmaceutical ethical industry, with proven success in expanding market presence and driving business growth regionally.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand international business operations across Asia Pacific / ASEAN markets.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to penetrate and open new markets for pharmaceutical ethical and OTC products.
- Build strategic partnerships with distributors, key accounts, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee P&L performance, market planning, and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product launches, marketing, and compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical ethical business, including leadership in international markets.
- Proven track record in market penetration, business expansion, and distributor management.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of ASEAN / Asia Pacific market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field; MBA preferred.
