District Manager (Medan, Jakarta, Bali)

We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee distribution operations across key regions: Jakarta, Medan, and Bali. This is a critical position focused primarily on distribution management with a strong emphasis on expanding and strengthening partnerships with distributors.
The ideal candidate has prior experience working with national or regional distribution partners, especially in the FMCG industries [Beverage], and is comfortable handling complex sales territories.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop distributor networks in key regions (Medan, Jakarta, Bali) to maximize market penetration and performance.
  • Identify and onboard new distribution partners in targeted territories.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with distributors, ensuring alignment with brand goals and sales targets.
  • Lead, train, and support district managers or sales representatives under your supervision.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, analyze data, and implement strategic adjustments to optimize growth.
  • Coordinate with trade marketing to ensure execution of key in-store and on-trade activities (10% of the role).
  • Ensure consistent implementation of pricing strategies, brand guidelines, and promotional activities.
  • Report sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the brand in meetings and presentations with distribution partners.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on distribution management.
  • Proven track record handling multiple territories or national distribution partners
  • Prior experience in the beverage industry is highly preferred, though not strictly limited to spirits.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel across assigned regions as needed.
  • Preferably based in Jakarta or Bali.
