Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead a strategic digital transformation project in the pharmaceutical sector. This role will focus on building and launching a B2B marketplace platform to support and scale our digital sales and distribution model. Acting as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end development of the e-commerce ecosystem-from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end project for the development of a B2B e-commerce platform tailored for pharmaceutical distribution.
- Design and develop the project blueprint, including functional requirements, user flows, and technical architecture in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including internal staff and external vendors (IT, developers, UI/UX, content, marketing, etc.).
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, IT, Regulatory, Finance, and Legal) to ensure integration and compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Monitor and evaluate platform performance post-launch, iterating on features and functionality based on user feedback and business needs.
- Report regularly to executive leadership on project progress, risks, and milestones.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in digital project management, e-commerce platform development, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing website or e-commerce development projects, preferably in healthcare, retail, or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketplace dynamics, digital user journeys, and system integrations (e.g., CRM, ERP, payment gateways).
- Experience working with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Preferred:
- Background in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in pharma e-commerce.
