Award-winning executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading medical devices distributor in Indonesia looking to hire a Project Manager Lead to help them deliver high level medical devices implementation projects and to build a winning team. This job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Qualifications:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering (preferably specializing in low-voltage systems) or Civil Engineering. Candidates with backgrounds in Biomedical or Industrial Engineering are also encouraged to apply.
- Has 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly involving medical equipment installation, hospital infrastructure projects, or healthcare technology implementation.
- Demonstrated experience managing construction and installation of high-value medical devices, including CT Scanners, MRI machines, Hemodialysis units, Radiology systems, or Radiotherapy equipment such as LINAC.
- Well-versed in hospital installation requirements, including room layout design, shielding specifications, and coordination of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems and medical gas infrastructure.
- Skilled in interpreting and coordinating technical drawings across various disciplines-architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and equipment layout-to support field execution.
- Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, tracking project progress, and resolving issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experienced with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal reporting, client engagement, and professional presentations.
- Capable of leading cross-functional teams and working closely with engineers, vendors, contractors, and hospital stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Comfortable using digital platforms to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and handle both technical and administrative challenges.
- Willing to travel and stay on-site as required to oversee project execution directly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, detailing technical needs, resource planning, and phase-wise timelines.
- Oversee all stages of equipment installation-from site preparation and delivery to system setup, testing, and final commissioning.
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring compliance with design documents, technical standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (engineering, logistics, after-sales) and external parties (clients, contractors, suppliers).
- Manage and maintain complete project documentation, including scopes of work, handover forms (BAST), warranties, contracts, and progress reports.
- Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement preventive measures to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, regulatory, and technical compliance requirements.
- Provide regular updates to management on project milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including project kick-offs, progress reviews, and final handovers.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify areas for process improvements, and enhance future project delivery.
