Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a prominent and established manufacturing company in the Philippines. Our respected client is looking for Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of electrical systems and machinery used in production. This position will report in Caloocan and Quezon City, Philippines.
Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and enhancement of electrical systems and equipment used in masterbatch production. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and executing preventive maintenance programs to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components within the manufacturing plant.
- Design and implement improvements to electrical control systems for production efficiency and energy savings.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems to reduce equipment failure.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot PLCs, motors, sensors, and automation control systems.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Document maintenance activities, work orders, and reports for compliance and analysis.
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred
- Numerous years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with PLC programming, motor control, and automation systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Willing to work on site
