Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Endpoint Management Manager to lead and participate in all aspects of endpoint management operations. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to oversee endpoint tools and lifecycle management across a global enterprise IT environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in endpoint technologies, security best practices, and cross-platform systems administration, and will have strong leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all endpoint management operations, serving as a working manager with a hands-on approach.
- Provide strategic direction and technical expertise for endpoint tools such as Tanium, Microsoft Intune, JAMF, and Group Policy (GPO).
- Supervise and mentor a team of systems administrators and engineers.
- Define and execute the strategy for application and operating system lifecycle management-covering planning, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Implement best practices for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting endpoint management platforms.
- Manage the integration of business applications into endpoint tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of endpoint-related issues.
- Support OS deployment automation, software packaging, and patching strategies.
- Oversee software distribution and security patching across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Develop and maintain mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
- Coordinate global endpoint management tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and IT policies.
- Create and present reports and dashboards on endpoint health, performance, and compliance to senior leadership.
- Ensure continuous availability, performance, and security of endpoint systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in endpoint management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Proven expertise with endpoint management tools (e.g., Tanium, Intune, JAMF, Active Directory GPO).
- Strong knowledge of multi-platform environments (Windows, macOS, and Linux).
- Hands-on experience with MDM technologies and endpoint security protocols.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable tasks while remaining technically involved.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering solutions at scale.
