Network Security Specialist (Mid-Level)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Network Security Specialist (Mid-Level) to provide 24/7 support through request handling, monitoring, and first-level triage across various security platforms. The role involves managing standard service requests, participating in continuous security monitoring, and coordinating incident escalation and resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 24/7 support across security platforms by handling requests, monitoring activity, and performing triage.
  • Process standard service requests such as user creation, access/view permissions, and other platform-related service requests.
  • Monitor dashboards, alerts, and platform events as part of the 24/7 coverage team.
  • Escalate incidents to Infrastructure and Application teams as needed.
  • Assist in generating recurring reports related to ticket volumes, request types, and SLA metrics.
  • Adhere to established shift schedules and provide after-hours support coverage.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity operations.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with commonly used security tools such as:
  • SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
  • EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)
  • Firewalls
