On behalf of our respected hospital client, Monroe Consulting Group is currently recruiting for a Facility Management & General Affairs (FMS & GA) Department Head. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the overall management of facility operations, maintenance, general affairs, and safety compliance across the hospital. This position plays a key role in ensuring the hospital's infrastructure remains safe, efficient, and compliant with healthcare standards to support seamless hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Facility Management and General Affairs (FMS & GA) teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of hospital buildings, utilities, and supporting services.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement activities for hospital infrastructure, including MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), medical gas, HVAC systems, and generators.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, SOPs, and preventive maintenance schedules for all hospital facilities and equipment.
- Manage and monitor outsourced service providers such as housekeeping, security, parking, pest control, landscaping, and waste management.
- Supervise asset management, procurement, inventory control, and contract administration related to facility operations.
- Ensure full compliance with hospital safety regulations, government requirements, and accreditation standards related to building safety and environmental health.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all facilities and utilities support hospital operational needs efficiently.
- Lead K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) programs and ensure regular safety audits, drills, and staff training are conducted.
- Plan and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising service quality.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management on maintenance performance, energy efficiency, and facility improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; Master's Degree (S2) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management and general affairs, preferably in the hospital or healthcare industry.
- Proven experience managing building systems (HVAC, generators, electrical and mechanical systems) and ensuring hospital facility compliance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and vendor management.
- Good understanding of K3 (HSE) and hospital accreditation standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Certified in Building or Facility Management is highly preferred.
- Willing to be based in Tangerang and available to join immediately.
