Our respective client is looking for a Finance Reporting Manager who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with reporting standards, supporting budget and forecast activities, and providing valuable insights to aid in strategic financial decisions. The office is located in Bagumbayan, Quezon City Metro Manila with an onsite work requirement.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Reporting Manager to lead the preparation, review, and analysis of the company's financial reports and regulatory filings. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with reporting standards, supporting budget and forecast activities, and providing valuable insights to aid in strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in inventory and costing, with preference given to those with experience in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review board reports, financial statements, and earnings reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support management in decision-making on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Lead the preparation for the year-end audit and coordinate with auditors as needed.
- Review the company's financial reports and provide recommendations to optimize expenses and improve financial performance.
Accounting Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, and Treasury functions.
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely reconciliations and accurate journal entries.
- Perform studies and analyses to enhance accounting processes and recommend technical improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with brand teams to support budgeting and forecasting, offering insights for improved financial allocations.
- Coordinate with other departments to align financial reporting with the overall business strategy and brand goals.
- Assist the Controller with special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Team Management & Training
- Supervise and guide team members involved in financial reporting and accounting tasks.
- Provide coaching and training to both new and existing staff to maintain high performance and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA is a plus but not required.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, inventory management, and cost accounting.
- Background in the food or consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
