Group Head - Regulatory Report (Banking), Bangkok, Thailand

The organization is committed to upholding strong governance, financial integrity, and full regulatory compliance. To strengthen its regulatory reporting and transformation initiatives, the bank is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the end-to-end Bank of Thailand (BOT) reporting function and drive automation and process excellence.

We are seeking a Regulatory Report - Group Head. This senior leadership role oversees the bank's end-to-end regulatory reporting function, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely submissions to the Bank of Thailand. The Group Head will drive the strategic direction of regulatory reporting, lead the implementation of Basel III Reform and BOT's Regulatory Data Transformation (RDT) initiatives, and strengthen the bank's governance and compliance framework. The role requires strong collaboration across Finance, Risk, IT, Operations, and senior management, while championing process transformation toward more automated, efficient, and data-driven reporting.


Job Responsibilities

Regulatory Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee all BOT regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Lead implementation of Basel III Reform and prepare the bank for BOT RDT requirements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with BOT and internal senior stakeholders on regulatory reporting matters.

Regulatory Change Management

  • Monitor regulatory updates, assess impacts, and drive necessary changes across Finance, Risk, IT, and Operations.

  • Ensure reporting frameworks, methodologies, and systems are aligned with evolving BOT and Basel standards.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Lead transformation from manual to automated reporting workflows.

  • Strengthen data governance, reconciliation processes, and end-to-end report quality.

  • Oversee UAT and rollout of process enhancements and system upgrades.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Manage and develop a regulatory reporting team.

  • Build capabilities, ensure knowledge continuity, and promote high performance.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within financial services, including leadership at senior level.

  • Strong understanding of BOT regulations, Basel III Reform, RDT, and regulatory reporting standards.

  • Proven experience in process transformation and reporting automation.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in Thai and English.
