Job summary

The Head of Corporate Finance will will be participate as a key member of the team to identify, optimize, and execute ownership transition and liquidity strategies

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate as a key member of the team to identify, optimize, and execute ownership transition and liquidity strategies (e.g., recapitalization, sale to an ESOP, or traditional sell side M&A process),capital markets transactions (e.g., debt and equity recapitalization, refinancing, restructuring, growth investments, etc.) and financial restructuring advisory for primarily entrepreneur-owned business above $10 million of EBITDA
  • Due diligence analysis and financial model data entry
  • Sort, review, analyze and develop conclusions from large amounts of economic, market, industry and company-specific information
  • Prepare presentations describing relevant client company situation analysis, financial review, valuation analysis and other related complex financial analysis and conclusions to individuals who may be unfamiliar with the concepts and analysis
  • Mastery of complex financial and cash flow modelling and analysis (LBO, accretion/dilution, pro forma synergy sensitivities, etc.)
  • Work independently on multiple engagements with multiple team members while prioritising and managing varied responsibilities

Key job requirements include:

  • Undergraduate business degree with focus in finance or accounting with a GPA above 3.5
  • Deep knowledge of corporate finance theories and financial and cash flow modeling experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant investment banking experience with a nationally known firm in their leveraged finance, financial sponsors, M&A, financial restructuring and/or debt capital markets group
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
